Prenuptial Agreement

It is a stipulation between the parties with regards to what will become marital property and what will remain separate property. It also addresses what will become of the assets should the parties divorce and it outlines what the financial responsibilities of the parties in the event of a divorce.

Post Nuptial Agreements

Post nuptial agreements work in a similar manner to prenuptial agreements except that they are executed after a couple is already married. These agreements also address division of assets and financial responsibilities of the parties.
